BIO
I’m an actor, award-winning author and published poet originally from Wyoming. I’ve appeared in numerous independent films, web series, and theater productions in LA, Colorado, and Wyoming, including Lady Caroline, Duchess Senior and Miss Prism with Long Beach Shakespeare Company, the Culver City Public Theatre and Denver’s Bovine Metropolis.
I’m Meisner trained, having studied with LA's Elizabeth Mestnik, and earned a BFA in Dance from NY Tisch School of the Arts with Larry Rhodes. I chose to leave the MFA Poetry program at Brooklyn College, with Lou Asekoff, Joan Larkin, and Alan Ginsberg, after only one year to care for my infant daughter, then newly diagnosed with cystic fibrosis.
I’ve practiced and taught Pilates and forms of power and yin yoga. While in New York, I performed with leading avant garde dancer-choreographers including Senta Driver, Wendy Shankin and Doris Seiden.
When schedules and circumstances allow, I still deliver instant poetry and readings. Drop by my new substack, where you’ll find poetry, essays and videos [soon] and other ramblings on creativity, reinvention and random observations.
